Product Review Process

Process

1. A list will be presented from the Product team, Technical Support, Training, and Product Marketing to the Product Review team.

2. TR6, will be requested by the Product Engineer. If a TR6 is not available, then a request will be made for A-stock product.

4. Email sent by XXX with pending tasks sent out to the following: XXX "appropriate team members"

5. Senior Product Marketing Manager must "Reply All" and Approve the request.

6. Sales Support Team processes Sample Request.

7. The Tech Manager will approve in the system. What system?

8. Sales Support creates a MO (or Move Order) created by the Inventory Planner. ???

9. Warehouse processes MO, processes the product/s, pull and complete the process. Then notifies Product Review Team that product is available for pickup.

Notes

 Once created, the MO will be sent to the Warehouse for processing.  When the warehouse process the product/s, pull and complete the process; one of the Product Review Team members will go and pick up the product/s. • All product/s will be dropped off in the Product Marketing Manager office. • A Product Review Team member will start the 5 Day review process. o Matching spec sheet and product o Testing features o Ensuring product works with Dahua products and VMS  If requested test with 3rd party VMS o Ensuring that the recommended solutions from HQ work. o Pictures if needed of product and reset button. • Should any of the tests fail or does not work correctly or there is information on the box, the Product Review Team will email the Product Manager team, Team lead, Product Marketing Manager and the Tech Manager. o Product Manager Team will report back with:  Information  Firmware  Recommendation. o Note: there will be times where they will not get back to you until a week or two. • Should the product checks out, then the Product Review team will submit a report to the: o Product Marketing Manager o Technical Support Team lead o Training Manager. o Product Managers. • Product will be on loan to: o Technical Support: 5 Days Maximum from the day of receiving product. o Training Manger: 5 Days Maximum from the day of receiving product. o Both teams will need to give feedback/recommendation to Product Review Team, to determine if the product needs to be released or not. • Pictures of products will be given to the Product Marketing, Wiki and Training team for use of: o Webinars o Training material o DahuaWIKI.

A. Should product be determined by Technical Support to be placed as a testing device or as a Live Demo, the Team Lead or Supervisor must let the Product Engineer know, so that the transfer process from Product Marketing to Technical Support can start: o Product may be needed for this transition to scan, for Serial Numbers by the warehouse, before setting it in a permanent spot. B. Should product be determined by Technical Support and Training team for the product to be returned: o Then the product will be returned to Product Marketing Manager. Waiting to be returned back to the warehouse in C-stock.

• A monthly or by monthly return from the Product Marketing Manager storage will occur.
