The PTZ camera must not be plugged into the NVR. It must be plugged into a network switch, router, or POE switch. |
PTZ camera is plugged into a network switch, router, or POE switch and it is not getting an ip address |
Make sure the camera is either getting a 12v 3a power source or is being plugged into a POE switch and is in the same network as the NVR |
PTZ protocol to be used |
As the PTZ IP camera is a Dahua PTZ platform using Private (proprietary protocol) will not work. The camera must be added using the ONVIF protocol.
