Abandoned/Missing Object

Description

Abandoned/missing function is used to detect if there are people, vehicle and objects abandoned or missing in some areas in the monitoring scene; it can trigger an alarm when the target object stays or is missing for a time which exceeds the desired time.

Installation Suggestions

  • The target should be less than 10% of the image.
  • Viewing angle >20 degrees
  • Installation height
    • Indoor height - no lower than 3 meters
    • Outdoor height - 5-10 meters
  • The target size in the image should not be less than 15×15 pixels.
  • Brightness difference between the target and the background should not be less than 10 greyscale.
  • The target should be continuously present in the image for no less than two seconds, and the moving distance of the target should be larger than its width and no less than 15 pixels (CIF image).
  • Reduce the complexity of surveillance scene as possible as you can. Intelligent analysis function is not recommended to be used in scene with dense targets and frequent illumination change.
  • Avoid areas such as glass, reflective ground, water surface, and areas interfered by branch, shadow and mosquito. Avoid backlight scene and direct light.

Optional Functions

  • Set shortest keep time - the time from when the target is abandoned or missing to when the alarm is triggered
  • Working period setting - by default is set to 24/7
  • Supports alarm linkage: Record, relay out, send email and snapshot
  • Target filter can be set for a max and min target, which means the maximum and minimum target size for an object to be detected

As for the detection area, it needs to be simple; it is not suitable for the too complicated area.
