Cannot Install SmartPSS-Missing DLL
Description
When launching SmartPSS, you might encounter the following error message: "windows cannot open file since api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dlll is missing from your computer".
In most cases, the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 is missing or corrupted on the computer. The below link contains the fix from Microsoft.
Prerequisites
- Requires Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015
Step by Step Instructions
1. When encountered with the following error message after launching SmartPSS: "windows cannot open file since api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dlll is missing from your computer", the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 needs to be fixed using Microsoft software or re-install the package again
2. Repair Visual C++ 2015.
3. Reinstall Visual C++ 2015.
