POE

POE ports: A POE port can transmit not only a network signal, it can also supply power for cameras.

The POE power supply standards of Dahua cameras that support POE power are mainly divided into two types:

  • 802.3af (most)
  • 802.at (few)

Category 802.3af (PoE) 802.3at (PoE plus)
Classification 0~3 0~4
maximum current 350mA 600mA
PSE output voltage 44~57V DC 50~57V DC
PSE output power <= 15.4W <= 30W
PD input voltage 36~57V DC 42.5~57V DC
PD maximum power 12.95W 25.5W
Cabling requirements Unstructured CAT-5e or better

  • The NVR automatically assigns an IP to the POE connected camera
  • The IP of the camera starts with 10.1.1.X (by default)
  • The IP format of the camera can be changed in the NVR menu and cannot be changed to the same segment as the NVR
