3. NVD0405DH-4K - Webrec does not install!
Description
NVD0405DH-4K - Webrec does not install! You can try all the tricks in the book, but the webrec is flagged as a harmful plugin and will not install! Bypassing this with Edge browser gets you to be able to change the IP address and some smaller features. However adding cameras and displaying video isn't possible with the limited queries you have without a webrec installed. Not having the firmware available for this product can lead to some concerns.

Quick setup instructions for support without training on the device:
- 1. Use internet explorer to log into the device using the IP address as the URL.
- 2. Download and install the plugin, for troubleshooting here’s a guide: http://www.dahuawiki.com/Troubleshoot/Internet_Explorer_ActiveX_Setup
- 3. Log into the device using admin / admin. There should be a prompt to change the password, please do so for your sake.
- 4. Once logged in select “+ Add Device” in the bottom right hand corner.
- 5. On the top left select “Remote Device” or the last item in the list. Do a device search for the axis camera, and “Add” or “Manual Add” it using its ONVIF credentials. Make sure the Connection Status is “Succeed”.
- 6. Select the TV Wall tab at the top right corner.
- 7. On the right side of the screen there is a device list with the camera you added. Use the drop down arrow next to the device name and select Channel_01 (or what is appears as) then select “Main Stream”.
- 8. Double click the IP address that corresponds with your camera to maximize the view. This should display video on all outputs marked with “1” unless you have selected another Screen. The screens correspond with the numbered output whether it’s BNC/VGA/HDMI.
