3G

Note: This function is only for series with 3G module. 3G is a mobile communication system which makes wireless communication integrates with Internet and multimedia communication. So far, the device supports two wireless interface standards which are confirmed by ITU, which are China Telecom and China Unicom respectively.

Parameter	Function
Wireless connection type	The default is auto and it supports dial-up, sms and incoming call.
Enable	Check to enable 3G module.
Authentication mode	The authentication mode is CHAP for Telecom common card, both Mobile and Unicom have no authentication mode; for designed network card, it is different according to different cards.
Dialing mode	The dialing number is #777 for Telecom common card, both Mobile and Unicom are *98*1#; for designed network card, it is different according to different cards.
User name	The user name is card for Telecom common card, both Mobile and Unicom have no user name; for designed network card, it is different according to different card.
Password	The password is card for Telecom common card, both Mobile and Unicom have no user name; for designed network card, it is different according to different card.
Update period	It is period for device to receive 3G signal every 30s other than scheduled period. The default is 30s. Cut off dialing to save flow.
Time range	You can set dial-up interval. You also can dial if you enable dial-up/sms. The dial-up/sms and dial-up interval is related.
IP address	It displays received IP when 3G dial-up succeeds.
