IP Camera vs. HD-CVI Camera

IP Camera

  • Uses Network Cable
  • Can Transmit higher resolution
  • Has an IP address that can be accessed remotely.
  • Can be connected to NVR and HCVR.
  • Uses RJ45 connector.

HDCVI Camera

  • Uses Co-Axial Cable
  • Are lower resolution than IP Camera
  • Does not have an IP address and can only be accessed through a HDCVI DVR.
  • Can only be connected to HCVR.
  • Uses BNC connector.
