Mobile Solution/How To Install SIM Card and SD Card

This article will show how to install a SIM Card and SD Card for a Dahua Mobile Recorder

  • SIM Card Slot

Prerequisites

  • Dahua Mobile Recorder

Make sure the power supply is disconnected. If it is not, the Device automatically shuts down when the door lock switch is opened.

  • Screwdriver
  • SIM Card or SD Card

Step by Step Instructions

1. Press the left front cover.

The left front cover automatically opens.

2. Insert the key (included with device) and turn to unlock the door

3. Loosen the two screws at the front panel

4. Pull the HDD carrier out along the guide rail

SIM Card

  • Press the unlock button for the SIM tray

  • SIM Tray will eject

  • SIM Tray out

  • Place SIM Card in Tray (a piece of tissue or paper on top can help if having contact issues)

  • Placing SIM Card

  • SIM Card in Place

  • Reinsert SIM Card Tray


Please make sure the gold part of the SIM card makes contact to the module

SD Card

Insert SD Card into SD slot


After inserting SIM Card and/or SD Card

Place the HDD carrier back to the Device, tighten two screws and close the door lock.
