DSS (Digital Surveillance System) is an all-in-one Central Management System (CMS) / Video Management System (VMS) that encompasses a wide range of features and functions within video surveillance. It manages IP cameras and recorders and is able to connect to third-party cameras via the standard ONVIF protocol.

The COS cloud platform is VSaaS platform released by Dahua under its intelligent IOT background. It aims to provide a centralized, cloud-based service system for small and medium-sized installers/service providers. It is more cost effective than traditional video security solutions because users can share costs over the life of the contract and only pay for the services they actually use. The COS Cloud Platform includes different kinds of solutions, such as device maintenance solution, alarm operation solution, cloud storage solution, etc.
