This article will go over how to add the DHI-ASC2204C-S to DSS Express V8
Prerequisites
Step by Step Instructions
1. Open DSS Client and go to Configuration by clicking on the wrench icon
2. Select Device
3. Click on Add to start adding the Access Controller
4. Enter the IP Address and Login credentials of the controller. Also be sure to change the Device Category to "Access Control". Then click on Add to proceed
Note: If you do not have an option for "Access Control", you will need to purchase an Access Control License for DSS Express V8
5. DSS Express will attempt to login to the unit. If successful, it'll load the controller's information. Enter a Name for the device and click on Ok
6. The Controller will go Online after a few seconds of loading
